Book Circulation

The Library follows open access policy, all the books have been arranged as per Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC). The users can pick a book of their choice from the shelves for inside reference and for borrow them.

 
Reference Section

The Library has over 40 thousand books including handbooks, dictionaries, and encyclopedias in its reference section. These books are meant for inside reference purpose and can’t be borrowed out.

 
Research

The Library provides research support services such as Research data management, research guides, plagiarism check, research tools recommendation, scholarly communication, open access, training and workshops.

 
Online Resources

The Library has eBooks, e-Journals, Databases, e-Magazines, Dissertations, Web OPAC, Online Newspapers, etc. all these e-resources can be accessed from anywhere at any time by any device.

 
Off-campus Access

Off-campus access facility is available to browse all the e-Resources from anywhere at any-time. This facility has been providing through official e-mail to all the members of the Library.

 
Computing and Printing

The Central Library provides computing and printing services to all the users. Digital Library has been functioning 24/7, including on holidays. An exclusive reprography section is in place to support photocopy, scan and printout services.

 
Information Literacy

Information literacy services offered in the Library empowers the students, faculty, and staff of this University to effectively find, evaluate, and use information for academic and research purposes.

 
Inter-Library Loan

The Library has institutional membership of various institutions and organizations to provide seamless access to the resources of academic and research need. We are member in Delnet, British Council, etc.

The Library conducts ‘Annual Book Exhibition’, regularly. Reputed book publishers and leading book sellers shall be invited. The exhibition facilitates the staff and students to go thru plenty of books under one roof, in addition to having better discount for their purchase.
