The Central Library has enrolled as corporate member in the following libraries DELNET, New Delhi British Council Division, Chennai American Resource Information Centre, Chennai Anna University, Chennai Structural Engineering Research Centre, Chennai MALIBNET (Madras Library Network) National Digital Library.

The Central Library operates 14 hours daily on all working days  (8 am to 10.00 pm).  Book transactions will be done from 8.30 am to 9.00 pm.  Sunday the Library is functioning from 9 am to 5 pm. The Central Library will remain closed on Public Holidays and Institution declared holidays.
